Brannen Haderle is a Los Angeles–based writer and director. His short film Live Colorfully premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016, the same year he was accepted into USC’s Film & Television Production program.

While at USC, he won an Uber commercial competition with A King’s Journey and received the Bellman’s Prize from the Lewis Carroll Society of North America for his animated short The Aberration Habitation.

Brannen has worked within the creative media department at Snap Inc. and has produced and edited hundreds of promos for The Dr. Phil Show. He now writes, produces, and directs commercials, music videos, short films, and social campaigns.

Across his work, Brannen is drawn to stories that shift perspective—projects that invite audiences to see the world, and themselves, a little differently. His films are rooted in emotion and transformation, balancing humor and catharsis with a strong narrative spine.

He approaches commercial storytelling through a human lens, using product as an entry point into something larger: a change in perception, feeling, or experience. Rather than simply presenting an idea, his work aims to resonate—creating a connection that lingers beyond the frame.

Outside of filmmaking, he spends his time outdoors—climbing, surfing, skiing, fishing, biking, and backpacking.
